Let’s explore both scenarios in more detail, with the goal of achieving 180 lm/W efficacy in each case using traditional 1-row and 3-row IP solutions, as well as LIANNA IP.
Focus on the best efficacy
When focusing on efficacy and utilising the best efficacy MP LEDs, LIANNA’s advantage becomes evident. With a higher optic count of 36 pcs/ft compared to the standard single-row solution’s 24 pcs/ft, LIANNA achieves an impressive efficacy of 187 lm/W, which is 26 lm/W higher than a typical 1-row IP solution. A similar efficacy can be achieved with a standard 3-row IP solution, but at a 20 % higher cost than the standard 1-row IP solution.

Focus on the cheapest BOM
If the bill of materials is the primary consideration, LIANNA remains the top choice. Its higher optic count, compared to the traditional 1-row IP solution, allows for the use of more affordable mid-power LEDs without compromising efficacy. While the 3-row solution can also use cheaper LEDs, the total solution is 16 % more expensive than the 1-row option.

Customisable lengths, UGR, IP
LIANNA features a versatile two-row lens design that can be tailored to any desired length in 1-foot increments. For our initial sales, we offer lengths of 4, 5, and 6 feet, ensuring a seamless aesthetic solution with no gaps. In addition, we offer 60- and 90-degree beams in 2-foot lengths that can be used either as standalone units or in combination with other lengths. Furthermore, attaching LIANNA to the luminaire is effortless thanks to its secure side clips.
LIANNA offers a variety of beam options, all with optimal UGR values to meet diverse lighting requirements. Starting with 90°, 60°, and 30° beams, followed by asymmetrical beams, with plans to later expand to include 110° and oval options. LIANNA is optimised for two-row PCB modules with 3030 and 2835 LEDs and can also be used with single LEDs or 1×2 clusters.
Creating the necessary IP solution for damp and dusty environments becomes remarkably straightforward with LIANNA, eliminating the need for individual cover glass that can reduce efficacy and increase the BOM. The following video demonstrates how to achieve an IP66 solution at the luminaire level.
