Project

To kill bacteria and inactivate viruses (including Covid-19) without using harmful chemicals, and to replace the more polluting mercury lamps which will soon be banned from the market, STERILUV by Concept Light sets out to create a customisable and upgradeable UV-C-module using high performance LEDiL optics.

Solution

STERILUV EVO is a compact, modular and fully customisable luminaire design for UV-C disinfection. UV LEDs from Crystal IS radiate at an optimum wavelength of 265 nm while pathogens are targeted using LEDiL VIOLET optics to control UV-C irradiance with narrow, medium or wide beams. The design allows many different installation methods, from surface mounted to recessed and pendant. An OEM kit is also available.
