Outdoor lighting luminaires, especially when they are utlilitarian, often take second place to the quality of light they produce. Italian company Platek decided it was high time there was greater harmony between form and function. They commissioned Lundberg Design Studio to create a series of floodlights that not only deliver amazing light, but look amazing as well. So in the words of the Beatles, 'here comes the SUN'.

SOLUTION

Using Platek's signature aluminium, the designers at Lundberg developed a whole family of floodlights in various sizes and wattages, with white or dynamic light, suitable for meeting any outdoor lighting design requirement. Purely technical in feel, form and function come together perfectly to define the contrasts between surface finish and materials.

BENEFITS

Anticipating the increased use of COBs in the future, the SUN system is designed for flexibility. Using a fixed LED source with a generic lens holder, different optics can be easily interchanged according to need. Platek chose LEDiL CARMEN and BARBARA lens and reflector families exactly because they deliver the quality and flexibility the system requires.
