Project
Most table lamps are taken for granted and remain virtually unnoticed as they quietly go about their job of providing light when and where needed. But some people like to do things a little differently. To combine cutting edge lighting technologies with traditional natural materials in a beautiful, aesthetically pleasing form was a challenge the designers at the Japanese lighting company, TRi TERASU set themselves in order to create their latest offering, the ‘mellow terasu’ table lamp.
Solution
Using a convenient USB power supply and beautifully crafted in maple wood, mellow terasu uses LEDiL VERONICA-SQ-SE optics combined with TRi TERASU’s patented technology to deliver outstanding light symmetry thanks to a unique light guide plate.
Benefits
The smooth lines of the natural wood blend in naturally with any interior and the compact design with USB port for power input makes it easy to place the lamp almost anywhere. Not only can ‘mellow terasu’ be used as lighting but its appearance adds a touch of luxury and calm to any space it is used in.
