Good lighting is often most noticeable when it is missing; not least when it can lead to unfortunate consequences. Uneven pavements at night lie in wait to trip the unwary pedestrian and an unlit marina jetty becomes a navigational nightmare. Bollards are often put in place to prevent access, especially to places where accidents might happen; but they can also be a positive source of guidance.

SOLUTION

To make sure boat owners don’t go for an unscheduled swim, the designers at OOO LPM-Complex in St. Petersburg, Russia have come up with a unique lighting bollard for small marinas using LEDiL SITARA-2X2-T2 optics.
