THEIA – The goddess of light
Introducing a new low glare LED optic for modern outdoor lighting with low pole heights
The balance between aesthetics and functionality of an outdoor luminaire is increasingly important in urban environments. How does it look when the lights are on or off – is it a dazzling glare bomb, or something more comfortable and appealing to look at? How does it perform in terms of light quality, control, and efficiency – are the targets met, and with what results and cost? How durable, future proof, and environmentally friendly is the luminaire?
LEDiL’s THEIA looks awesome – either on or off. The uniform surface luminance reduces pixelation, offers a smooth, consistent light, that pleases the eye and satisfies the most demanding of design specifications. The innovative edge-to-edge design not only takes the aesthetics to perfection, but works as a practical solution that allows multiple lenses to be linked together.
With all visual sugar coating aside, THEIA is a goddess among optics, with superior light control, extreme efficiency, and excellent performance, fitting up to 32 LEDs under a single module.
Even though the whole lens surface is covered in optical elements, we still found room to integrate a silicone seal for ingress protection. Protected against dust, dirt, and water, THEIA is ready to thrive outdoors. Sharing the same outer dimensions as our IP-2X6 and IP-24 lens families, the integration with existing and future luminaire designs is LEDiL proofed.
Verstatility in applications
Typical applications are as diverse as the urban environments THEIA is designed to illuminate. From streets and pathways, to different outdoor areas and parks – THEIA not only ensures that they are well-lit, but delivers a more pleasant visual experience and inviting atmosphere.
